Charles Wall Jones was my great great grandfather. He was murdered in Nacocdoches Texas in 1904 in a Masonic building supposedly over an accounting error. He was a writer, a business man, and sent his son Stanley Jones Sr. to school/college in 1888 in Nacogdoches. The name of the school was the Keatchi College that only existed for one or two years....Geneological Note. Married Ella Mae Hatchell. She is buried..
She is buried at Glenwood in Crockett(Houston[county] TX. She died in 1881 in child birth one year after Stanley SR. was born. The child, a girl, died in the birth also. The sugar cane industry...From their they moved to The Height in Houston. He was secretary in the Marine & Fire Ins. Co in the latter part of the 1890's and had something to do with Ins. happenings during the great storm of Galveston in 1900. Died in 1904...murdered Oct 10 1904...shot in the head in the stairwell of The Mason Building at lethal range. See Criminal records of
