EXPLOSIONS IN THE DARK
Russian circles
Kandinsky's art
Mayonaise, jellybeans, pop tarts
Dancing toward the end of love
The places people go where energy
flows
Is also where angels fly to closely
to the ground
Clowns trapes around with painted
on smiles
The music here is thick and flows
for miles
CHORUS
When you come around there
are explosions in the dark
A Journey to the edge of night
In the morning: mayonaise, jellybeans, poptarts
A special moment pokes itself though
folded time
Dance me to the end of love
White stripes wrapped around
red candy canes
Bertron paintings laser projected
on thin rock candy window panes
Carbon monoxide big big cars flushed
drown the drain
CHORUS
When you come around there
are explosions in the dark
A Journey to the edge of night
In the morning again we have: mayonaise, jellybeans, poptarts
Eating blue orchids in heavy moonlight
Slowcore music plays soft calming the
hunger for the human fight
Sitting in a favorite chair at the Red Light Lounge
you cut a path across the room
in your hand you hold the keys to the kingdom
but no one else knows
FADE-INSTRUMENTAL
All I can see are explosions in the dark
